This book opens with a little boy giving a mouse a cookie in front of his house. The book then follows the mouse's growing demands, like asking for milk, a straw, a napkin,a haircut and so on. The mouse's demands are sometimes very silly and entertaining for children. The illustrations are very fun to look at, as you can see the little boy's house in the background getting progressively dirtier with each request by mouse. The book concludes with the mouse asking for another cookie, taking it full circle. This is a great book for story time, as children will be interested to see what comes next.
