This book goes through a series of simple words with Spot. Including words like 'Box', 'toy', and 'book'. This board is different from other board concept books that simply list the words. The book shows the words at the top of the page, and then incorporates two of the words in a sentence across the bottom of the two pages. The illustrations show both the item, and Spot acting out the sentence. This is great for early literacy because young children can see words, match them to the illustrations, and then hear how they are used in a simple sentence.
