Format: Soft Cover
Age:4+
This story follows Lisa and her bear Corduroy. Lisa and her mother go to the laundromat and she brings Corduroy with her. Corduroy decides he wants a pocket on his overalls, and goes in search of material to get a pocket. He explores the laundromat and gets caught up in someone else's laundry. Lisa could not find him so he is left at the laundromat overnight. He spills laundry soap and sleeps there overnight, and in the morning Lisa comes looking for him. At the end of the book, Corduroy tells Lisa that he was looking for a pocket, and she sews him one. This book is very entertaining and the illustrations are very visually appealing. This book is suitable for older children due to the length of the story.
